Which insurance plans does Modern Mental Health participate in?

Modern Mental Health is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice Preferred plans. These plans are sometimes called “Anthem Blue Cross” or “Blue Shield”, but as long as the type of insurance plan is a PPO, or Preferred Provider Organization, we are in-network.

We are also in-network with Aetna commercial insurance. As long as your insurance is not covered under Medicare or Medicaid, we will likely be an in-network provider. Aetna has a diverse number of plans available, including HMOs, PPOs, Choice Plus, and Point of Service (POS) plans to name a few. Many patients sign up through the Affordable Care Act (ACA or “Obamacare”), or the Illinois Marketplace system, or perhaps with an employer or school.

Whenever you provide us with new insurance information we complete a benefits check to confirm we are in-network with your plan. If you would like additional information about your specific plan’s coverage and what you might be expected to pay, this can be provided upon request. We strongly encourage you to contact your insurance carrier to understand you plan’s coverage as well.

We are not in-network with any Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare (Military) health insurance plans, even if it is supplemented under Blue Cross Blue Shield or Aetna.
